Hi my name is Richelle,

I have been baking for as long as I can remember, however I am not a professional chef or a qualified baker. My enjoyment comes from demonstrating my passion to show God’s love to others through practicing my gift of baking and hospitality. My inspiration and goal is to be a generous baker that creates sweet treats that will melt in your mouth!

My love for God also extends to fascination around biblical thoughts on food and how it features throughout the bible.
Eight years ago I willingly gave my life to Jesus and ventured on the ride of my life. Jesus performed miracle after miracle in my life. I watched as God transformed me from a broken women to a confident and valued daughter of God.

Since meeting Jesus, my life has taken a different path ideal to my personality and style in which would also collide with the heavenly plan God has for my life. So off I went into the world of book writing, food styling and book publishing. My completed published book (Laying God’s Table) is the product of a long journey of blood sweat and tears but also a beautiful journey that God has taken me on, growing me in my spiritual gift which is to teach hospitality to the Body of Christ.

My ultimate passion is truly loving people, and showing God’s pure love in action. I am bubbly by nature and am an outgoing person who loves to give. I live in Auckland on a lifestyle block and am married to a wonderful Man of God Barry Raeburn.

Before I became a Christian I was starving for love and I believe that the world is also starving for Love. In saying that I really want my book to inspire you and to challenge you to really show Gods love in action. I don’t want my book to sit on a dusty shelf somewhere. Utilize my ideas and launch some of your own. We are a very blessed generation, so let me encourage you to get together and use the gifts and the things that God has given us to make our own historical events at our own tables. Let make history together!
